I've spent most of my adult working life being A Resource.
Helping dreams become reality. Getting involved in making things happen. Showing clients crucial details and bigger pictures.
I have three decades' worth of administrative experience in the not-for-profit fields along with extensive experience in all aspects of "hands-on" management, including program planning, budgetmaking, fundraising, grant writing, publicity and educational outreach, staff and volunteer coordination and publication creation, design and marketing.
I've worked often as an arts consultant and free-lance writer/editor for education, health, retail, entertainment, publishing and corporate clients, finding ways to develop effective promotion strategies and materials from concept to completion. Devising unique and successful fundraising campaigns is a particular specialty, as well as liaison and lobbying experience with government, education and community agencies at local, state and national levels.
I have experience as an event coordinator and/or consultant for major special events including academic conferences, trade shows, music and arts festivals, product introductions, educational seminars, workshops, symposia and special showcase events.
As a content provider, I have produced writing and media presentations for every niche and need. My copywriting credits range from software manuals and training handouts to hundreds of film, radio and television scripts, documentaries, jingles, liner notes, pamphlets, brochures, web site content, annual reports, newsletters and commercial ad copy for print and broadcast.
As a publicist and media relations specialist, I have served a great variety of clients with strategic marketing campaigns that achieved maximum exposure and impact. I am also an experienced event coordinator and have organized dozens of community outreach events including seminars, business conferences and arts showcases.
I am well-versed in database management and have co-developed a special not-for-profit donor management software program called NFP Edge, along with my wife, Lisa Bansavage. Her company, Savage Media, has designed arts-related databases for several New York clients including RCA Records, Atlantic Records, Law and Order, SCP Communications, Family Care International, TTT Theatre Group and others.
If you or your cause ever need additional helping hands or a whirlwind of concentrated brainstorming, please give a call.
Sincerely,
Lawrence E. McCullough, Ph.D.
